Our family started growing mushrooms to explore the fascinating world of fungi, and we are turning our passion into something more. We believe that mushrooms are amazing, delicious, and fun!

Our Story

Our mushroom story began in the forest. While hiking the trails at Silver Falls, Roslyn encountered a mushroom, and wanted to know more about it. What kind of mushroom was it? Was it edible? After returning home, Eric starting studying mushrooms, and he never stopped. We have always enjoyed foraging for wild edibles, and once we began to learn about fungi we realized there were thousands of species. Many edible varieties grow right here in the Pacific Northwest! Morels, truffles, and chanterelles all grow in Oregon. The largest living organism on the planet is a honey mushroom, known by many as the humungous fungus, and its massive network of mycelium is found in Eastern Oregon. Fascinated and inspired by mushrooms, we began cultivating them at home. Growing mushrooms is something our family loves to do together. We are excited to share our love of mushrooms with you!
